"Black Ops" Hitwizard Wand - Yew

Bocote Cursebreaker's Wand

Bocote is from a small tree native to Central and South America, sometimes called Mexican Rosewood. This hand-turned wizard wand is made from ash, and is about 12-1/2" long, inspired by the so-called "pretty boy with enough brains to fill a tea cup" by jealous Griffindor students. Cedric Diggory carried a wand from Ash - one of Ollivander's creations - and used it to great effect in the tri-wizard tournament. Unfortunately, the Avada Kedavra curse has no blocking, and so it didn't save him when Wormtail shot the killing curse at him.
