Wizard Conductor's Wand, er, um, Baton, Yeah, that's it.

"Ah, music - a magic beyond all we do here!" Wise words by one of the greatest headmasters of all time - long live his memory. This wizard wand is perfect for the witch or wizard with musical talent - I'm currently negotiating a custom design for the former lead singer of the Weird Sisters, now persuing a career as a conductor of a prominent symphony in disguise as a muggle. I can't tell you which, but it should be apparent soon when the music they play is subtlely enhanced by the magic of the wand I'm making. The baton shown above is with a holly shaft and a purpleheart handle, total length about 15 inches. The shaft should be both light weight and light color. Maple offers a less-expensive alternative to holly. The handle can be any number of woods, from more common woods like walnut, purpleheart, etc. to exotics like rosewood, ebony, or cocobolo. Angel Wand - Pink Ivory and Holly

This wizarding wand is made from Pink Ivory and Holly, and designed to enhance its feminine powers. Pink Ivory is sacred to the Zulu people as their royal wood. Holly and Ebony Wizarding Wand - Opposites Attract

This wizard wand is made from ebony and holly. Ebony and Holly - as opposite as any two woods can be, combine in this hand-turned solid hardwood wand to great effect. Holly is known for protection, from dark wizards and poisons. Harry Potter favored his holly and phoenix feather wand in his battles against Death Eaters and of course, Lord Voldemort (oh sorry, I mean you-know-who. Holly Wizard Wand - Phoenix Feather Is Up To You

Our favorite boy wizard of all time wielded a wand of holly with a phoenix feather core against the most evil dark wizard of all time, he who must not be named, and he did it with great effect.

Holly, probably the whitest of woods, is supposed to have powers to protect from evil spirits. Personally, I think it helps if you share a magical core with your arch enemy and he underestimates it...Anyway, this particular wand is about 11" long, and is made knuckled and bony because holly looks like bone. As far as its magical properties are concerned, and whether it has a phoenix feather core or not, well, don't ask me - I'm a muggle after all. You're the wizard.
