OK So I tried to find the name of the jewel that keeps track of house points for the kids who are loyal, who value fair play, or "all the rest" as they're sometimes called by the other three wizard school houses. Yellowheart and Purpleheart Wand - The Paradoxia

This wand is made from Yellowheart and Purpleheart and measures 14". As yellow and purple are opposite on the color wheel, so Yellowheart (or Pao Amarello) and Purpleheart are nearly polar opposites in wandlore. Yellowheart is known for leading to victory in combat, and for meditation and stillness. Purpleheart is known for its use in divination, its creative energy, and its healing powers. Combined, they look dang cool, and in the right hands, may be useful as maybe a wizard medic on the front lines in the fight against the death eaters, or perhaps to help restless kids sit still - I could sure use a wand that does that!

Yellowheart Wand - The Junior Duelist

This Yellowheart wand is a good example of the stubbier, blunter design for younger children. It's about 8" long, strong, and smooth. Of course, here again my muggle ignorance may have put the young recipient of this wand in grave peril - you see, Yellowheart, or Pao Amarello as it is also called, isn't the most harmless of wand woods. It turns out to be renowned for it's power in combat, though also encouraging meditation and stillness. I'm really not sure how that works. I only hope that the young wizard who received this one uses its power for good.
